First it was shocking news. Tiger Woods, the great golfer met with an accident. Then, it’s even more shocking to know about Tiger’s cheating on his wife. Who knew a man that looks so innocent, humble and loving could pull something like that? Maybe his secret is hidden inside his Escalade and when it crashed, its all out like evil demons and spirits unleashed from hell.

Don’t get wrong, I’m a big fan of Tiger. Although I don’t play golf or don’t watch enough golf tournaments to keep up with the scores, I’m always fond of reading about Mr. Woods. His current achievements, awards the he won, respects that he’s getting from public, and certainly I envy to a man who looks as if he has the perfect life. Beautiful hot smoking wife who used to be a swimsuit model, multi-million dollar sponsorship from big companies, and fans from all around the world. What else could a man asked for, right? Wrong. We always want more, don’t we?

Well, not long until the Media become Woods’s number one fan after the crashed and all the scandals and talks about Tiger’s infidelity came out. Everybody is talking about it.
My Question to the Greatest Golfer of All Time
If I have the chance to meet up with the big Tiger, the number question that I would ask to him is –WHY?
Although he might have his own reasons, I like to remember that, hey, underneath all that fame and big image of his, he is still a normal guy. Who I think it’s not much different from all other guys and cheating husbands out there. So to think about it even further, I asked the question, why do you cheat with your partner for another woman or a man?
Here are the possible reasons why Tiger and other man or woman cheated on their partner:
1. Want to get part in order to get away from the current relationship/marriage.
When it comes to end up a relationship, men sucks. Yes, we don’t really know how to break up. So we end up looking for different alternatives and purposely wanted to get caught so the current relationship would be over. It’s like a ‘message’. I know, a brutal one.
2. As an act of revenge.
It’s called a silent killer. The most classic situation is when a wife accused her husband of having an affair and he just said to her “Oh, what about the man name Bill I saw you with a couple days ago?” End of story.
3. To feel young again
They say that if you want to feel young, hang out with young people. But if you want to look young, hang out with older people. Unfortunately some people think they can turn back the clock by being with someone young. That’s when they started to wear inappropriate clothing to match his or her partner. Not cool.
4. Sex
Or sometimes ‘wanting more sex’ is the correct reason. Sex will always be a motivator in people’s decisions. Especially men. Sometimes it’s for a good cause but most of the time, its going to cost a lot.
5. Demands more attention, the need to feel special, better understood or desired.
I think this is one of the main reasons why you might be cheating on your partner. I’ve read in many places about how a man or a woman are tired of waiting to feel special, and when they ran out of cause to fight for it, they’ll seek for alternatives sources. (Translates = look for another man or woman)
6. Loves drama and adventure
I don’t know if this is a case of watching too many movies or Desperate Housewives, but I heard that some did out of fun and adventure. They like the thrill of it. I say go to the theme park and ride a roller coaster.
7. Wants a different partner from a different background
Suddenly the fish from the other pond looks more attractive. Some seek for a different partner, from different background such as different races, religions, socials, colors, ethnics, etc.
8. Just plain bored
Yup. As simple as that. I say that’s a stupid excuse for philandering. Go get Guitar Heroes if you’re bored. Problem solved.
The Lesson
Although I must say that its not just these 8 reasons that made people to cheat on their partner. If you know more reasons, please add in the comment section.
One thing for sure that we will never know what is the real reason Tiger Woods cheated on his wife. But what we can learn from it is that, the consequences are normally bad. Even the big-O-Tiger, is taking a retreat and a year off to recover.
